Your Fitbit, on your home screen. The widget the Fitbit app doesn't have.

08 featuresA home-screen widget for Fitbit
The Fitbit app has no widget. Fitbit Kit puts your steps, sleep, distance and exercise on your home screen as a grid that fills itself in from your watch.
Made for Fitbit and Pixel Watch
Every activity, colour and target maps to what Fitbit records. Pixel Watch connects through the same Fitbit account. Nothing generic, nothing to configure twice.
Contribution grids
Every activity becomes a GitHub-style grid. Watch weeks fill in, spot the gaps, and feel the streak build day by day.
Eight Fitbit activities
Steps, distance, sleep, exercise, water, calories, active minutes and active zone. Pick the ones you care about; each gets its own grid and target.
Your own activities too
Reading, coding, guitar — anything a watch can't measure gets a tap-to-log grid next to the synced ones, so the whole routine is on one wall.
Streaks that keep you honest
Current and best streaks are front and centre. Miss a day and you'll see it; string them together and it becomes a wall of colour.
Private by default
Your Fitbit data is read onto your phone and drawn there. No Fitbit Kit server stores your health history, and nothing is sold or resold.
Themes for every grid
Sixteen colours per activity, a pickable accent, and a light theme for the people who want one. Dark is the default and always will be.

And the rest
For the things no watch can measure — reading, coding, calling your mum — one tap fills the square, on the same wall as your Fitbit data.
Inside the app
Real screens. One idea.
Straight from the app. Pick any one.

Your watch fills the squares overnight; the widget shows the result next to your other apps. Small, medium, or a strip of the whole week. Most days you never open Fitbit Kit at all.
Each activity gets its own colour and its own year. Open the app and the whole routine is one picture — what is holding, what has slipped, how long the run is.
Steps, distance, sleep, exercise, water, calories, active minutes and active zone — each one a grid the watch keeps up to date. You set a target once; the day turns solid when you hit it.
Tap through and you get the whole history: the year as a grid, the note you left, and the month laid out day by day so a gap has a date attached to it.
Synced activities get an hourly chart under the week: the morning walk, the afternoon slump, the run after work. Today's total sits above it against your target.
Completions, completion rate, current and best streak, and a month-by-month curve. Enough to tell a real dip from a bad week, and to see the shape of an activity settling in.
Four activities or fourteen, the wall should still fit on one screen. Swap between full cards, a list, and compact tiles without losing the grids.
Export any activity as a clean card — its grid on a solid colour, light or dark. Nothing else leaves your phone.
Pick an icon or an emoji, name it, choose a colour, decide whether you are building the activity or quitting it. That is the whole form — there is no step two.
Light or dark
Dark by default. A light theme for the people who want one, and an accent colour you pick yourself.

Setup, once
Connect your Fitbit
Sign in to Fitbit once and pick the activities you care about — steps, sleep, exercise, active zone. Pixel Watch users connect the same way through the Fitbit account.
Put the widget on your home screen
Small, medium or a weekly strip. One activity or your whole week. It sits next to your other apps, in the theme that matches your wallpaper.
Glance
Your watch uploads, Fitbit Kit reads, the squares fill in. Nothing to open, nothing to log.

“I've tried every habit tracker. Fitbit Kit is the first one that pulls my Pixel Watch workouts automatically, so I never forget to log a run. The streaks are addictive in the best way.”
“The widgets are perfect. A glance at my home screen tells me if I've moved enough and slept enough today. No opening the app, no fuss.”
“Mixing auto habits from my watch with manual ones like reading and water is exactly what I wanted. One grid wall for everything.”
“Clean, fast, and it respects my data. Nothing lives on some server I don't control. And it's free, which still surprises me.”
“Watching a month fill in green is way more motivating than a number on a dashboard. This changed how consistent I am.”

Fitbit Kit reads from Health Connect on Android (and Apple Health on iOS). Once your Fitbit or Pixel Watch app writes steps, sleep, and workouts into that shared health store, Fitbit Kit picks them up and fills the matching habit grids automatically. You grant read access per data type, so you stay in control of exactly what Fitbit Kit sees.
Steps, distance, active minutes, sleep duration, heart-rate zones, and logged workouts are supported today. You choose which metric powers each auto habit and set the daily or weekly target that counts as complete.
No. Fitbit Kit works fully as a manual habit tracker — reading, water, meditation, anything. Wearable sync is a bonus that removes the friction of logging movement, sleep, and exercise if you happen to own a compatible device.
Yes, completely. Fitbit Kit is free on iOS and Android with no paid tier, no subscription, and no in-app purchases. Every feature — Fitbit sync, widgets, unlimited activities, themes — is included.
Cloud sync of your habit setup and history is on the roadmap. Today your data lives on-device and through your own health accounts; opt-in encrypted sync between your phones is planned for a future release.
Connect your Fitbit once. That's the whole setup.
