Terms of Use.

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using FitKit, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy at https://fitbitkit.com/privacy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. The product

FitKit turns your Fitbit activity into contribution grids and home-screen widgets. It is free on iOS and Android. There is no paid tier, no subscription, and no in-app purchase. Features may change as we ship updates.

3. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use FitKit on phones you own or control, subject to the rules of the app store you downloaded it from. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except as allowed by law.

4. Fitbit and health permissions

FitKit needs permission to read your Fitbit activity through Google Health. You are responsible for granting or revoking that access. Fitbit data arrives from Google on Fitbit's schedule. We are not responsible for delays, gaps, or errors in what your watch recorded or what Google Health reports. How we handle that data is in the Privacy Policy.

5. Health disclaimer

FitKit is an activity companion, not a medical device. The numbers it shows come from your wearable and may be inaccurate or incomplete. FitKit does not provide medical advice. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your health, fitness, or sleep.

6. Analytics

We use PostHog to measure how the free app and website are used (opens, retention, version, device, Fitbit connected or not). We do not sell that data or use it for advertising. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Use it at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yash Vadaria and FitKit are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from use of the app. Fitbit Kit is free, so our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for it: nothing.

9. Third-party trademarks

FitKit is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Fitbit, Google, or Apple. Fitbit, Pixel, Google Health Connect, and Apple Health are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe compatibility.

10. Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
